Transmission: 700R4
And if it's the 700r4, you can do any mod that the v8 guys with 700r4's can do, like shifters, shift kits, trans coolers, etc. Besides the v6's 700r4 having a smaller casing than the v8's 700r4, there were only -minor- internal upgrades to the v8's 700r4- the major "inner workings" of the trannies are exactly the same. In fact, if you ever need to look up rebuild kits, you'll see that none are spec'd as a "v6 rebuild kit"- they're all kits for v8 700r4's, and everything fits in the v6 700r4.
I've put the following on my 700r4:
B&M Shift Improver kit (stage 2)
B&M 4-3 kickdown kit
B&M Console Megashifter
B&M Supercooler
Summit remote trans filter
Energy Suspension trans mount & torque arm mount
