82 4 speed saganaw

i have a 87 with a beat 700r4, and this weekend i'm picking a 82 with a 4speed manual, for free, and the odds are it would be a saganaw, how bad are these? i don't know anyone that had one to ask. thanks

i have one in a 82 camaro parts car that i have but i never took it out to look at it. Many people said that they are much better than the 5 speed borg warner gear.
