Oil leak from pressure sending unit

Oil leak from pressure sending unit

at the sending unit next to the oil filter.its leaking oil and dripping it onto my exhaust y-pipe and SMOKE... i can see it from there a little tiny bit its coming out..whats the fix to this?

2.8 v6, t5 swapped in

Car Stereo:
Blaupunkt head, Monster Cable wiring, MTX Thunder 6000 12" inverted in a personally made box with a 350*1 Amp pushing it, MTX 6x9 in the back with hopes for components in front

Coming for my v6:
Panhard Bar, 4thgen front seats, Nitrous, Line Lock, Posi, Spohn Torque Arm & Subframe connnectors

Replace the oil sending unit. It is pretty simple to replace and only cost about $8.

Ditto, but the sender for guages runs about $30 if I remember correctly.

Do you know where it's leaking from? If it's just leaking at the threads, you might just need to unscrew the sensor, put some new teflon tape on it, and screw it back in...

Mine was only 7.99 at the local autozone. I have had 2 different ones on my car on the last 2 months. I had oil leaking out when the electrical plug was attached. It would smoke none stop due to it dripping right on the manifold. I luckily got a 30 day warranty, so the 2nd one was free. It is a simple job, good luck.
