i saw a 91 or 92 camaro the other day (well at least it had the ground effects on it) and it only had one tailpipe. i just want to know whether or not all 3.1's came with dual exhaust.

You mean the dual outlet? Because no thirdgen came with a true dual exhaust due to clearance problems I think. My RS has a dual outlet and everyone who doesn't know much about cars thinks I have a dual too. But I think all the 90-92 camaros/firebirds came with that setup.

I'm pretty sure my 1986 2.8 had a factory dual-out crossflow muffler, too. The pipes were thin, and they were crimp-bent, not mandrel bent. There was also a weird looking hanger on the passenger side, in the back... it was an oval rubber piece. I wonder if it was an option or not...?

My 86 had the Real-Fake Dual Exhaust stock. Not any more tho. I kinda miss it, it looked cool.
