My Fan dont cut on until 215 degrees

My Fan dont cut on until 215 degrees

I have only had my ride since June and i havnt got a chance to see what happens in the winter. BUT.....my fan doesnt turn on until about 215. Do i need to get a fan that i cant turn on my self or what? Is it bad for my car to get that hot? PLEASE REPLY

That's normal fan kick-in temperature.

Check everything, tho.
Hoses, fluid leaks, etc.
Running 50/50 fluid?
