If the calipers are getting fluid and your brakes are bleed ....I;m thinking the proportion valve may be damaged.

You replaced the m/c, eh? If you bench-bled it correctly, you might have gotten a bad rebuild. Bring it back, and try again. My rear axle swap (drums to disc) took forever because of a bad master cylinder. I had no pedal, and always got the BRAKE light, no matter how many times I bled the f%#$ing master cylinder. I spent a week on the damn thing. I finally took it back to get another rebuilt one (rebuilt by A1 Cardone); it took a day to come in, but when it did- I was driving the next day.

I was even raising the back of the car up verrry high to make the m/c body (not reservoir, the body) LEVEL with the ground, and bleeding the original "bad" m/c- no good. What a pain in the butt.

I still think I have air in the m/c... I have a feeling my pedal could be higher. If I try a powerbrake, I'll see the BRAKE light come on. I was designing a home-made pressure bleeder (using my "shop" air compressor), but completely forgot about the project. I was able to make the pressure bleeder to act on a single brake line, but the m/c one requires a bit more work. Anyway... it sounds like the master cylinder.

Do you know about the quick-take-up valve? That thing affects the bleeding procedure...
