yeah, most V8 guys are cool, for example, my friend has an 88 5.0 Mustang thats all done up........that car he has is faster than most anything else in my town.........and that friend thinks my V6 camaro is simply awesome..........it's just sad we get a few bad apples in the crowd that leave the strong posibility of ruining things for everyone (no names mentioned cuz they know who they are)

Easy way to find out is to find pics of headers for those cars. They have a exit to feed air to power the turbo. I believe a twin turbo set up will have two, one per side. Kyle will know

I saw a few T-Types at work the other day and the turbo was fed by only by the passenger side exhaust. These weren't intercooled models though....

Well the 89 Turbo Trans Am runs 13.6's according to Pontiac...but i've seen em run 13.2-13.3's stock..250 HP my *** ...

The potential of the turbo 3.8 is unbelievable... i have a buddy with 2 TTA's #850 and #124

With just $700 worth of mods..he run a 11.95@112.5 with a 1.62 60' time

Mods were...micky thompson ET Streets, front springs, race gas, upped the boost to 22#'s(stock is 16#'s)3'' downpipe and a TC lockup switch...and he still got 23MPG on the way home from the track lowly V6 eh?

hey all V6 guys, dont let that idiot iroc5.7 get on your nerves, if you guys are having fun working with V6's or its all you could get, then good for you its good to see people having fun and making what they have go fast, i think it's unique to see a V6 camaro/firebird go fast and its quite admirable to be the guy that made it happen. and to iroc5.7: why dont you just leave the V6 guys alone? if theyre having fun with what theyre doing, is it hurting you? let them do it! and to all you V6 guys- dont let him discourage you, keep up the good work, heck, l got my 305 which gets teased every once in awhile run high 12's which may not be blazing, but l have fun with it, and l like it. keep it up V6 guys, l personally think its unique. by the way iroc5.7, l've got a 71 monte carlo bbc that'll smoke you 6 ways from sunday- just thought l'd make a comparison of two completely different classes of cars.......

we need to match 5.7 to a lotus espre turbo.. let the 4 banger whip it good... LOL Hell hopefully in a under a year I'll have a 1.8 Honda doing low 11's...

To all the guys... have fun with whatcha got. Thats what its all about. Tinker here tinker there find out what works by doing it. Hell this winter I plan on gutting my 3.1 RS rebuilding it(it has 113K) building custom headers and a mini ram intake with 20Lb spintle injectors(they will work best for my mini setup) If all works right I am looking at probly close to a 20HP increase from intake alone. Cutting the intake track to jusr over 2 1/2 inches with almost direct clinder fuel injection. The injector will be squirting a stright line of fuel right onto the top of the valve. And gonna make the intake accept the twin 52mm throttle bodies of the V8's.

And before you all scream you'll never pass emissions, you know your right but I don't have them so I can do anything I want to it!(not to make you all feel bad though) I do plan on getting dyno numbers for real gains but I plan on doing this motor to be quite the performer. With the intake and headers made the next thing would be DFI control and a custom turbo with intercooler and then let all the LS1's come and watch them become stains on the road!. MUUUU HAAA HAAA HAAA.

WHO NEEDS V8's WHEN YOU CAN HAVE TURBO'S!!!!!

Sorry bud, but I assume you don't know about over lean conditions. You will need more fuel to compensate for the airflow, as well as a lot of horsepower to burn all that A/F mix

Just a heads up to change your envision.

You obviously don't know too much about cars in general do you?

BTW, I got a friend with a "lowly" 4-banger that would like a race... Can you handle 12's?

um...you don't think he already knows he'd have to upgrade his fuel system with that setup?

So Iroc...i'm curious...what does your Iroc run at the track..PLEASE do tell...

umm....it takes HP to BURN air and fuel? i thought it takes air fuel and spark plugs

Moron...and oh yeah...since you are Mr. Car *** you do realize that relocating your MAT sensor does NOTHING on a MAF car...but then again you probably already knew that
