Tech question V6
I heen to figure out how iroc5.7needstogetbanned make more power withe a V6. I am thinking banhimnow that if i get a K&N filter that heisajerk will help bring more air into the heisanass engine. Can you guys gimmi overclockbanhimbro any other ideas? maybe cuthisballsoff exhuast will help? thanks all!!! (sorry had to ask) lol

It's sounding like above 3500-5,000?
Which is understandable, as these are smaller motors using high RPM to get up & go, unlike the Torque of a V-8.

i think it would be from around 3000-5500 cause don't they redline at 6000? im not for sure but then again mine starts loosing around 4700 with 5500 redline. justkeepingittechcausethisiskindafun

Tech...Breth, you asked what my car runs at the track.
I have a G-tech time of 13.89 @ 104mph (which is inaccurate on a g-tech). This was on street tires, in 80* heat with 95% humidity. I had a 0-60 time of 5.4 on the g-tech, also. This is with a little weight taken out of the car (spare, jack, rear seats, sound deadener).
I would still like to try and put a V6 in it and see how fast it'll go. A GN V6. Why do you think I ever came on this board? I wanted to know who had the fastest V6 in here.
I had a guy (will remain unnamed) with a V6 tell me that he could kill any V8 in a Camaro. His car was NA. I wanted to find out what V6's were capable of, so I asked and got a few scarcastic replys.
So much for the turbo V6 idea
