Something i noticed...

Last oil change i put in 20W-50 and now i don't get that puff of smoke at start-up. And my valve cover isn't leaking as much.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and have you ever run your motor with the belt off?? It sounds so much better without all those friekin accessories makin noise.

Thicker oil won't slip past little leak spots as easily. Only makes sense.

Yes, i was aware of that. I assumed it would just puff LESS smoke but instead it puffs NO smoke.

IVe done that but have you driven it withou a belt??? ****EN MAD POWER if i go to the track im gonna get a belt to run my alternator and water pump ad thats it.

No, i've never driven it like that. It doesn't take long for the motor to warm up WITH the water pump spinning. Imagine without.....
