ok boyz......heres the official word.......THEY WILL NOT WORK ON OUR CARS.......i know most of you know this already......but for those who dont: FRONT WHEEL DRIVE HEADS WILL NOT FIT OUR ENGINES!!!!!!

how do i know? i saw a 3100 series engine in the school shop today


the heads are WAYYYYYYYy different!!!!!!!!

on ours the where the manifold meets is equal on both heads with these heads on is wayyyyyyyyyy higher than the other head

Yes I(and most of us) know that they won't BUT 3.4 HEADS WILL FIT OUR ENGINES. You can also get Performance Generation 3 aluminum 60 deg heads that will bolt up that flow 30 percent better intake and 40 percent better exhaust from GM performance. The down side? you have to buy the inake(lower and upper) as well.

 

hmmm , wonder how much those heads are ?

 

I can give ya the part number if ya want. I got my catalog somewhere around here...

 

broke down & got the gmpp catalog, called jim pace for some prices, cast heads are $395 bare, AND,
the cam kit for the 3.4 conversion is $118.52

if you really want all out, the aluminum block is only $3561 + change
