TBI to MPI??
ok well my friend has a 92 S-10 with a 2.8L TBI engine. I have another friend thats getting rid of hit MPI off his donor RS camaro that has a 2.8L. are these 2 interchangable?? and if so whats all involved *computer, MAS, ect* and whay kind of hp numbers would be agian as well as MPG?

keep the tbi, save up $3,500.

Dumb question, but will that vortec fit on my 92 3.1 camaro. Where can I find it?

Ya got it mixed up.
The "Vortec" is a 90* package (4.3 & the V-8's).
Ours are 60*.
Do a 3.4 swap and be happier!
Sides it way ceaper & easier!!
Oh to answer the ?, yes you can.
It's exactly wiring and computers.
Which ones, haven't aclue.
BUT, it can be done. Infact, I plan on doing that, anyway.
But I have an 85 carb S-10 and an article from Super Sport Truck from the early 90's about the swap (my desired objective carb to MPFI).
Go to Turbo City, Katella Ave, Orange (or Anaheim), CA and ask for their ideas.
They do the computers and such.
But, I'd just make the truck run right, it's easier. Not true gain in performance for the effort. Unlike a perfect running vehicle as it sits, now.

that's why I have the $400 allocated for new brackets, besides, that damned vortec is for blazer 4.3 tbi set ups, and my blazer has cpi. bastards.
