It's that time of year, fall is coming and soon my 1985 2.8L V6 MPFI Berlinetta will have to retreat into the garage to await Spring.

I have no desire to turn her into a racer, but I am looking for a tighter suspension and feel, and some additional performance without going through major modification.

I've already done two minor things, installing a Stage2 chip from FastChip which is a noticable difference and removing what I'll call the "fangs" from the air scoop filters which just seemed to impede air flow <no, I did not remove the filters!>

Any suggestions folks might have I'd be appreciative of. I'm no mechanic, and would probably be taking a laundry list to my local shop I know and love well and just have them do it.

 

Port + polish your intake. See my post about it! Nice gain, fairly cheap, won't impede mileage or driveability.
