edelbrock intake
does anybody know if the edelbrock intake and holley carb will fit under the hood on my 87 firebird?

Are you talking about the 2 piece eddy intake? The instructions that come w/ the top part says to measure carefully w/ clay. I'm sure w/ all the low profile air cleaners out there you should be ok w/ the stock hood.
