Does anyone know where the knock sensor is on a 1990 3.1 fb engine. I know its supposed to be in the head or the block but I can't find it anywhere. I rebuilt the engine last winter and I don't remember seeing it anywhere. Mt computer is throwing a knock sensor code. I think it was 43 or 44. I can't fix it if I cant find it.

I know on my 91 3.1, its up by the starter. You actually reach down through the engine compartment on the passenger side and reach mine. I don't know if our engines are the same but thats all i know
