How wide are stock 14 inch rims?
I feel like I'm the only one with them...
Anyone Camaro guys wanna sell me their 15 inch rims?
Anyway, I need to know how wide these rims are so I can decide what size tires to get... I'm really hoping they are 7 inch's wide... so I can safely go with 235's... I don't wanna be stuck to 225's as my widest... I really need better rims...

you're not the only one with 14" rims.
Our tires will cost less, weigh less (generally), and will allow our cars to scoot faster with smaller sidewall tires on. It's an overloked blessing ( but I too wouldn't mind being cursed with 15" rims) oh well
edit: any good tireplace should be able to tell you what the absolute biggest size tires you can put on your rims.

I had a friend whose Monte Carlo had 14" rims; he was very limited as to tire size selection. He wanted wide rear tires like me but he couldn't find 'em!
It probably wouldn't cost that much to get a set of 15x7's from a junkyard...

Tom, rims from my junkyard are 65 a piece, no matter what size... I can get crap new ones for cheaper... I think I might just do that, but I'm going to opt for 8 inch wide ones, that way I can run 245's with no problems... US Wheel 97 series don't look too bad, they're chrome, and for a 15*8 rim it's only 43.95...
Beats the hell out of my ultimate cream-dream rims, American Racing Torq-Thrust "D"'s at 188.95 for one...
