cheap rebuilt 2.8L engines

hey, my 2.8L spun a camshaft bearing. I know it is only a matter of time before the engine locks up. Does anyone know the cheapest place to order a rebuilt longblock 2.8L? for maybe 500 or so?

Camshaft or crankshaft? The junkyard might be your best bet; especially if you luck out and find a low-mileage block.

Try www.tacreations.com
or is it transamcreations.com?
I can't recall, but they are an F-body salvager and I know they sold somone on the S-series board a complete 3.4 for like 450 bucks and they ship nationwide.

It's:

http://www.tacreationsusa.com/

That place is g-o-d. I'll be ordering stuff from them when I get out of college in 5 years...

It's not rebuilt, but they run when they pull 'em, prices vary depending on milage and overall condition.
