help me with my poor car!!!1
k, in addition to all the problems i've had, and fixed, this morning, driving to work at 6 am (ish) i hear a clunk and my gauges stop working (except for the odometerand speedometer), then stoped on a hill , for a few seconds my brakes wont work, and i rolled up to the red light and started rolling down, so i put it in first and hold it in place till the green light,
the rest of the way , it was fine 9exept for the gauges) after work i came to my car and figured to take a look at the fuse panel, and well, the fuse named gauges is blown so i reach to my wallet (remmembering i put a fuse there about a week ago) and replaced the broken fuse, turn the key and the fuse bows again, (gauses dont work, and there is no check engine light with the key in on, engine not running (i think it should be on).
anyone have any idea to what might have happened ???

I agree with Fiream. I had an almost identical problem with my first car, an 88 cavalier. Even had the Beeeeeeep too. Probably a short in your ground somewhere, the hard part is finding it

Honestly, I am not a mechanic, I can do basic mechanical upkeep, and thats about it. I took my car to a mechanic to have him fix the problem. And, unfortunately, I don't remember where the short was
I do remember, however, that it only cost me around $40 or $50 for the diagnosis and repair. I just took it to a shop that specializes in car electronics and wiring. This may be your best bet unless you want to spend hours tracking every little wire in your car to look for a short.
