freeze plug on the 3.1 Q:

i replaced the driver side plug again with a steel plug with the motor in..very awkward!! lol and the passenger side just started leaking right after so i bought a rubber one and this side looks wayyy worse to handle like the starter is in the way and the control arm.."any" way i can get to this just to take it out, WITHOUT pulling the motor?? i got the expandable plug i just need a easier way of getting it out, the driver side i had to literally cut out..thnks

Buy the brass plugs, everybody ends up doing the one on the back of the engine and no you have to take the fly wheel off to get to it. Just back the tranny off, leave the engine in the car.
