Vacuum line to.... ?

Just started working on 3.1 - first time on this engine and despite everything I've read..... there is what appears to be a vacuum line connection on the back (dead center) of the intake plenum. I can't find it in Haynes/Chilton - just need to know where/if I should just close it off or where it should be connected. TIA

Look at the vacuum diagram on the radiator support, you can also find them if you google it.

Thanks - had tried googling, no stickers under hood anymore. Found the loose hose when I took off the dizzy. +1 for finding hose, -10 for rusted out dizzy.

Re: Vacuum line to.... ?

Goes to the heater control head input, the cruise modulator by the washer tank, and the orb of power under the driver's side battery tray... IF it's off of the T in the back of the plenum that the brake booster SHOULD already be connected to. The one off to the left side of the engine (when looking at it from the pulley end) goes to the MAP sensor mounted to the cowl lip.

Re: Vacuum line to.... ?

Eh, if I was sure I could stand the heat, I'd probably end up working for my older sister out there either in or near Gold Canyon (I think that's at least where she was a couple years ago), if she still has her towing business. Which, the last I heard, she was thinking of getting out of after having 2 more kids...
