Should i be concered about these possible problems?

First off, when u start my car it almost always puffs out smoke. Second my engine makes a loud clicking noise i can hear if my window is down or outside of the car. My volvo clicked loudly but apperently it was known to just have a loud fuel injector system. Do these thirdgens have that issue to? Third, when my car warms up my automatic transmission takes longer to shift into gears. When i'm driving my car before it warms up it ***** fine and nice and fast. But as the car warns up there starts to become a delay between it shifting gears. And finally when i first start my car if it is hot outside or has been sitting in the sun for awhile, the car bogs down a ton when i tryto accelerate untill maybe 1 min of driving then it drives fine. I've replaced all of the vacuum lines in hopes it would fix this but with no luck.

Mine also has the clicking noise. It's my daily driver. Whatever is clicking doesn't seem to impact performance, handling, or gas mileage. Guess I should figure it out sometime.

Smoke when starting is 'normal' and is generally caused by bad valve seals that allow a small amount of oil to drip through into the combustion chamber. Pretty common with any GM engine, and many other brands as well. Not a concern unless it continues past the initial startup, but it can usually be fixed by pulling valve springs and replacing the mushroom seals.

Ticking could be any number of things, from injectors, exhaust leak or rockers. You can try to narrow down the location using a mechanics stethoscope (google it). I have had this on a few different GM engines, and it varies as to the cause. I have dealt with all of the above listed causes at different times, although if it is the injectors I have never found a good way to fix it.

I can't help with the trans except to tell you to replace the filter and verify that the fluid level is up. A slower shift when warm can be cause by low fluid level or simply be a worn trans, but if it is still shifting I would simply focus on fluid.

No clue on the bog when cold start on hot day.

yea the transmission is my biggest concern then followed by the car bogging down. i didn't make the top list in any type of order. before i got the car the transmission was rebuilt, but i think pretty badly. the transmission wasn't mounted down, it was leaking everywhere, and the wrong bolts where used on it. i got all of that fixed and it shifts perfectly fast and smooth when the fluid is still warming up. but once it warms up it takes like 2 seconds to shift between gears and it is getting pretty annoying.

My guess is possibly a bad pump, but at this point it could be any number of things causing that. I have never dealt with a shift that slow at warm, most of mine tend to be not engaging when cold, working great once warm. Hopefully some more knowledgeable trans guys can chime in.
