can i put a2.8 carb intake on 2.8 mulitport motor
Im trying to build my wife a 86 firebird for a derby car. It has a2.8 multiport in it and I have a 2.8 carbon intake I am wanting to put on it. I was told it would not work unless I change heads also. Is this true. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

it will bolt right one, the problem is u will ne an older vacum advance distributor to use with the carb.
without the throttle body and asorted sensor the ecm will not give the correct amount of spark advance with the carb/intake ontop
