V6 EGR Block off plates.

I need the part number for the EGR gaskets. Specifically. the exhaust mani gasket and the one in front of the throttle body. If anyone wants these they are being made.

There is no gasket for the EGR on the exhaust manifold end or it would come in the manifold set. You can get a gasket for the EGR transfer tube. Just ask the guy at the counter for the intake gasket set which should be in stock and get the number off the label.

I had to make my own out of that make your own exhaust gasket stuff I got off amazon for $10 or $20 bucks...my EGR stand was warped or something...thing leaked all over. Had it on for months now seals it right up still in good condition (the gasket) and no more codes.

Re: V6 EGR Block off plates.

If the EGR is working properly why not just disable it by electronic or pneumatic means when you don't want its part throttle intake and engine heating effects?

The post is about block off plates, not whether I should keep the valve or not. Its been long gone. I really need to plug the hole now.
