Where to get this bolt
So my 85 2.8L had a cracked cylinder head on the passengers side. So I got a new one and put it on. Got it all back together and started to put 50/50 in and I started to hear it coming out of my engine. Turns out at the back of the cylinder head behind and below the ignition coil bracket there is a bolt missing from the cylinder head, and either my old cylinder head had the bolt and I did not get it back or the new head is for a newer year v6. The reason I say that is I found another 2.8 at a junk yard and it was an 87 I think and it had a sensor while mine does not have a sensor. All of my cylinder head bolts have been put in too. The car in the junk yard was towed off before I had a chance to get the tools to take it out. My guess is that its a water temp sensor. I just need a screw to put in that hole does anyone know what goes in it? Right now I have the biggest bolt I could find with some gorilla glue to hold it on and I want to actually fix it.

Great thanks for the help. I am curious though how do you know its that size? Have you had this issue or do u have a manual that tells you? My chilton is not that detailed.

Re: Where to get this bolt
I had to move the CTS in my 3100 intake... The sensor was in the way of my heater hose. The fan switch and the CTS and temp gauge/light sender are all the same thread type. The info is also found scattered around the Web.
