Did half the spark plugs on the 83 Firebird 2.8, fired it up to check something, and now even once warm and kicked down it idles at 2200rpm.

What wire or hose might I have bumped?

Hard to listen for vacuum leaks as the clutch fan is so loud but I don't hear anything obvious.

PCV is seated.

And yes, I did the other 3 plugs

I don't know if you ever figured it out, but a good way to check for vacuum leaks is to get some carb cleaner or starter fluid and spray near hoses or spark plug bases. Just be careful where you spray that stuff, you'll hear the idle go down when you hit the leak.

I appreciate it man! Actually it turned out to be a wire that came off a spade connector near the back of the air cleaner area. Soon as I reconnected it the idle dropped!
