Edelbrock Intake Manifold different port sizes ?
hi, i recently bought the 'Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifolds 3785' and when it arrived i noticed that the ports on one side are smaller than the other,
i'm just wondering why its like this, and what, if any benifit this would give?
should i have them ported a bit ? or just leave them
obviously they are like this for a reason, i just cant figure out why, im so confused...
cheers.

If I were you, I would probably send that back. Never seen anything like that before.

I took a look on the Edelbrock web site, it has the same port layout as shown in the OP. Has to be a reason it is that way, try it and see.

Although, the one thing that bothers me is that "are stock replacement street legal parts." This also means that hitting up a small GM truck with the 2.8l engine nets the same basic intake. Maybe?
RBob.
