Coolant leak near oil pan 3.1l

For the past 3 days or so I've notice coolant underneath the car after parking it for the night. My car isn't running hot and the coolant in the radiator isn't mixing with anything. What could be causing my coolant to leak?

Have you checked your lower radiator hose?

Yes, there's no leakage in that area

Freeze (core) plugs slowing leaking from rear of engine? Are you replenishing coolant yet? This is what happened to my 3.1 V6 until it became a flood.

it can also leak out from the knock sensor as well or any of the small pipe plugs in the side of the block

Re: Coolant leak near oil pan 3.1l

Front and center under the TB there is a funky port to pull (or put) coolant from the block. The OEM ones do not hold up, so if it hasn't been replaced yet it is a prime suspect.

Look under the car at where the coolant is on the ground. The location of it is helpful in locating the leak on the engine.

RBob.

Need to grab a light and look around the block to find out where it's wet (when the engine is cold, obviously, otherwise the coolant will just evaporate). The leak could be in any of a thousand places from the heater core hoses to the water pump.

Get a pressure tester too, pressurize the system and start checking, top to bottom, front to back. Front of the engine is a common place; intake gasket, TB lines, waterpump, hoses. Where are you seeing the coolant at in relation to the engine?
