89 2.8 mpfi vac hose?

Hey everyone..
Been pluggin away at the car in some spare time.. Got it runnin alot better still missing the vac controller. But may have a line on new ones.. (may)..
But my issue is the vac line that goes to the back of the intake manifold (passenger side) has been disconected and plugged with a screw..lol..not sure where it is supposed to go.. If some one can post a pic of there vac hose routeing it would be a huge help to me..cant figure out for the life of me where it goes to

Well one goes to the hvac panel. The other I cant quite remember at this point because mine dont run where they used to anymore. I think to the EGR vacuum switch. Im sure someone has a photo/diagram.

Also If I recall, there have been numerous threads here on the V6 boards asking the very same question.

Re: 89 2.8 mpfi vac hose?

if you are talking about the vac's on the upper plenum, the passenger one goes to the hvac, the driver side (the big one) goes to the brake booster. The one that comes off of your actual lower intake manifold goes into a tree kind of thing that goes all over the place. When you look at the vac diagram, it doesn't include the two that are on the top of the upper plenum.

Just figured I would throw this up here for you. Don't know if it helps but its the factory vacuum diagram for the 2.8 on my hood.
