Does anyone have a list of the exhaust manifold bolt and stud sizes and grades for the 3.1L? My car is 1,000 miles away waiting for me to go reassemble it next month. I want to buy all the miscellaneous parts in advance for my trip to go get it since it is sitting out in the country well away from places like Fastenal...

The 3.1L block is the exact same as the 2.8L block. So the bolt/stud sizes should be identical.

 

Thanks for the link. This link says header bolt size and I am looking for stock manifold bolt size. That's apparently why it didn't show up in my searching. But, since it says long and short bolts I am guessing that the ones listed might be for the stock manifold as I think the header bolts would all be short bolts..

 

IIRC, they're M8x1.25 by 30 and 40mm... Don't hold me to this since it's been years since I replaced mine...

 

Yes, the two sizes listed are the bolts needed, IIRC. I always like to buy extra hardware and just return what I don't use. I work at a hardware store though.... so that maybe why!

Anybody know if the manifold bolts would be grade 8.8 or 10.9 and what the size and grade is for the exhaust pipe studs?
