"Performance" carb wont help ya... A supercharger,NOS, or better yet a 350 will be the only way to get "performance" to your car. LOL.

Check in the V6 forum for any sort of performance questions. You will usually just find ridicule and bashing in most others. I had a V6 in my car for a decade. I find it funny that a guy with a 305 boat anchor is the one cracking jokes

Re: perfomance carb

My "boat anchor" sounds and runs extremely well.I don't race it or expect a lot of performance out of it because like the v6 I do not think its worth spending $ on performance parts. I have a 350 on the engine stand waiting for when it comes time to change it. I apoligize to the gentleman with the v6 car if my words came out wrong and seemed abrasive.

Re: perfomance carb

There's a edelbrock intake out for the iron head motors. You can get it in a 2bbl or 4bbl version.
If you go with the 4bbl holley makes a 390 carb that goes good with these little motors.

Re: perfomance carb

Upgraded cam, springs, roller rockers, edelbrock manifold and holley 390cfm carb. Add some pacesetter headers and a 2.5" catback.

I believe the edelbrock 3785 base with 3789 top and Holley #0-8007 carb is what you would want. You can use their 3790 cam or get one from delta.

Moving to the V6 forum for this reason.

And, you're more likely to get usable answers.

Re: perfomance carb

Edlebrock has an intake manifold for carbs. You can either get a 2bbl or a 4 bbl but I think that a 2bbl would be more than enough for our engines.
