Need help with 3.1 Mods!!

I have a 1992 firebird 3.1 with an aftermarket intake, IAT sensor relocation and catalytic converter delete. These are the mods i was thinking of for this spring:
Delta 260 cam grind with new core, and lifters
COMP Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rocker Arms
(1413-1)
1.52 lift(Has necessary Valve cover Clearance
New Timing chain set
New Springs
Is it really necessary to do a tune?
Am i missing anything?
i heard this is a pretty good setup in different threads.

Yes it is necessary to tune the car. If you don't tune it the car will run rich at idle and lean on the higher rpm area. And you wont gain the hp you could with those parts. This is because it's a speed density system. If it was a 2.8 maf system you could get away with it.
