91 3.1 5 speed.

I've been working on my car for 3 weeks now. New parts include plug wires plugs cap and rotor. New computer new coil new fuel pump new injectors new fuel fikter. Had the car idling perfect but driving bad, I backed it in and went back to start it but nothing. Won't even pop. Fuel pump comes on and it has spark. Will fire up with starting fliud... Is there any chance that the icm is bad? Or something to do with the comouter? The vats is okay nothing wrong other. Please help I dont wanna see this car just sit and rot, thanks

Re: 91 3.1 5 speed.

Excuse my dumb post: {If the stock OEM injectors are still in the engine, replace them.}

I thought your name looked familiar, already have new(er) injectors. Since starting fluid sprayed into the intake will fire the engine. It has to be fueling.

VATs will do that, it stops the injectors from firing. A bad ICM can also do this, as the ECM doesn't see reference pulses from the distributor.

Did you check or replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR). Didn't see it mentioned. Will cause symptoms like yours. Good Luck.

If you replaced the ICM when you installed the new dizzy, it probably was the ICM.
