so I see a lot of talk of porting or putting the 3.4 heads and manifold on a 3.1? what doe this intail doing? where can I get the stuff to do it? what will it cost? is it worth it ? how much of a projct is it? would also be doing 260 cam and headers

 

It's not 3.4 heads and intake (that is RWD), they refer to the 3400 aluminum heads and intake from a FWD car. Most of the parts come from a donor car. You will need to open the engine up, since it involves changing pistons as well as the entire top end. Read the stickies and threads on it a few times over and you'll get the idea of what is involved.
