Return AC Delco 7mm spark plug wires or return for an 8mm set?
Return AC Delco 7mm spark plug wires or return for an 8mm set?
I need to change my spark plug wires because while replacing the distributor cap I found one of the wires corroded . I bought the AC Delco 9706n spark plug wires and when I got them in the wires were labeled 7mm. I read here that I should shoot for 8mm wires but I didn't know which one to choose for my 2.8l so I decided to just get OEM not knowing what size they were.
Should I return these (I bought them from Amazon) and look for a different set or should I just use the set? I'm running ac Delco plugs and distributor cap.

Check the 'made in xxx' country, if USA, EU, or Canada, use them. Elsewhere, find a set based on the above. If the OEM spark plug wire holders are still in place that too is a consideration.
A larger then stock wire may not fit.

best deals ive always found was on ebay, find a uni fit set of spirial core wires for a V8, they come with both furd n GM ends, youll need a coil wire so youll only have 1 wire left when done but often way way cheaper then direct fit set of less quality wires.
