Small spark or big spark. A little spark is normal.

Re: electrical help ASAP!

From what you describe it sounds like your positive cable is grounded somewhere. Start tracing it and see if it's making contact anywhere, especially at the alternator or starter. I would think that if it was a smaller gauge wire you'd have already fried it or a fuse, but I wouldn't rule it out for sure. It could be that you have a pinched wire after doing the work.

Re: electrical help ASAP!

So first trace the positive wire to wear it leads and then search for a pinch wire I check all fuses and plugs all seem to be okay that's while I'm so stumped

Re: electrical help ASAP!

I would disconnect the battery, grab a multi-meter and ohm from the positive cable to ground (engine block or frame). If you find that it's shorted, start disconnecting things until the short is found.
I'm wondering if you pinched anything during the install?

Re: electrical help ASAP!

probably just the solinode that needs changed, or smacked with a rubber mallet, that or you put the start wire in the wrong spot and its active all the time.
