High Idle (Neutral and Drive) And Accelerating On Its Own. (Car is a 92 RS 3.1 V6)

Howdy all, Your friendly neighborhood Spydey here. Well the Spyder-Mobile is up and running again. But I would like to fix this high idle and accelerating on its own problem. It was idling high and low off and on when I first got her. Bought new IAC and TPS and that fixed the idle problem then (acceleration was also normal then.). I failed my emissions and took it to the shop. Mechanic said he idle my car up a little and that might let me pass my emissions, and I did. I'm guessing that would fix my idle high problem, setting it back. Could anyone tell me how to do so? Ii have adjusted idle on a Honda before by the idle screw (I thinks that's the name). Can this be done on my RS? Or will I have to adjust my timing? I don't know what the mechanic did to idle it up and the shop has moved out of state. Now the most important part, will all of what I said before cause my car to accelerate on its own? I just put a new distributor in and didn't know I could do a total timing by adjusting the the distributor house, but I don't have a timing light. I shift into first and can come of the clutch completely without hitting the gas and the car will accelerate. This was happening before I put the distributor in. I've checked the throttle spring (don't really know what to look for besides if the throttle lever is stopping closed all the way.) and it seems to be closing. HELP GOOD OL' SPYDEY OUT... PLEEEEEASE!

irregular idle could be a vacuum leak. i really wouldn't mess with the idle screw unless its already been messed with, it should have a cap on it to prevent it being messed with. if its not there then someone already messed with it. theres a certain range that it's supposed to be in. have you checked your fuel pressure regulator for leaks? why did it fail emissions? that could help diagnose what is going on with your car.
