well you all may want to read my post about my oil leak


i am now wondering if my surging idle (it goes from 1000-4000 RPM when i first turn the key) is due to a bad EGR valve..........

the only way the car usually starts is when i HAVE to pump to gas while crankin' the key........................

also my power brakes stopped working on me after i tried to get the oil pressure sending gauge off...........all I did was slighty move a brakeline about 1/4 of an inch to get a wrench over the sending unit.............???????????????

could i have possibly destroyed a vacuum line by accident?

the engine light does not come on at all (except when key is in ignition b4 starting, so i know it does work, atleast i THINK it works)


would having such a major oil leak cause these problems

i mean it is MAJOR when the engine is on, the oil pours out of the sending unit as if the oil drain plug is taken off

could this also be a bad TPS??? or IAC???

i'm really sorry i am going nuts, BECAUSE MY MOMMY HAS TO DRIVE ME EVERYWHERE UNTIL I KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO FIX

here's EXACTLY what happened:

i park in the wendy's parking lot and my friend gets outta his car and says, DOOD, look at that smoke comming outta your hood

so i take the car home and throw the hood open

white smoke is comming out and it smells like burning oil

later that nite, me and my dad jack the car up and we discover that the sending unit is leaking like a sive

up until this point all else was fine (no bad idle, still had my brakes)

i take the harness off the sending unit and oil pours out

i try to get the sending unit off but have no luck,

i tried to get a special socket over it......in doing this i had to wiggle it past the brake line (?!?)

SO............i reconnect the harness, get in the car to pull it outta the garage AND my POWER BRAKES DO NOT WORK

AND MY CAR'S IDLE IS THROUGH THE RICHTER SCALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


i am now so depressed because my grandmother is not doing well and i said i was going to visit them on christmas day

and i was supposed to go out and have fun with my friends, some of which i have not seen since high school

but now i dont have a car.................

I DID IT!!!!!!!!! and i also noticed where my 4000 rpm idel and loss of power brakes came from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i accidently knocked loose a vacuum line from my master cylinder~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]


now my mommy aint gotta drive my sorry *** around!!!!!!!!

and no more burning oil fumes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
