today i drove a 1970's chevelle malibu and i am in love...
the factory engine was replacesd with a 350 with 4 barrel carb and headers, dual exhaust...
damn that car soundes mean! that **** flew like a bat out of hell

i think i want to get a real job and save up all my money for a crate 350 who is the other guy here with this same car...
what shape is yours in and do you have any pictures?

350 w/4 bbl.

Console/auto.
Very nice deep blue and Blue interior.
His car has the AC package and the SS Gauge package dash.
15" American Torque Thrust D wheels.
I'm helping install a distributor for that ride.
We'll get that puppy to start to sing again.
Glad you enjoyed the old ride. I have many of them. Can't pass up a ride in an old car.

 

for my rs i have a 5 speed, the chevelle had a 3 speed auto, but the higher gearing was used well with 290-300ish hp the sound was very nice didnt sound like a beater... guy was asking $1300 but i already spend my savings on my current rs...
me and my friend went over to check it out, he was interested in buying it for his first car his family was going to buy it for him but they said it wasnt new enough, the engine work and the transmission was 10k on it... the stock 307 was taken out, and the new 350 was put in. it needed work, body work+ interior work, but it was a dream to ride... chevelles are one of my favorite muscle cars...
