Engine Front Cover/Coolant Pump Gaskets (2.8l)
Hi guys.
I have a quick question about the front cover and coolant pump gaskets. Are those paper gaskets? I have the service manual but it doesn't mention what type of gaskets belong in there.
I'm about to replace them because of coolant leaking and if they're paper I won't need to order anything.

Yea they are paper. I've never seen or used a cork or rubber one.

For the less than $10 for the front cover and water pump gaskets it's worth it just to buy the proper gaskets...

I live in Germany and it takes a while for parts to get here and I don't like driving a leaking car.
