Cam, how much? Part number#

Guys, I working on my 89 V6 2.8L Bird right and I want a performace Cam. First tell me what it does, where it is located, where can I buy one, Anybody got a part number or model number. How easy is it to install, if hard whats your guess on labor cost.

I see your new, and welcome to the board. I will give you a little info. But search the old threads on this cause there is lots of good info on cams in them.

Crane cam builds the PowerMax 2030 seris cam.

specs cane be seen on the website at http://www.cranecams.com/master/apps...tm#2. CompuCam

ON a scale of 1-10 for difficulty to replacing a cam, I would say a 9. But can be done. I would take this on myself. But I do not know what skill level you are working at.

Labour is a rip off. You might as well get a 3.4L and stuff under the hood if your not going to install the cam yourself.

Hope this helps.
