Long story short i picked this gem up with 65k orig miles. Been sitting in a barn since 2005. The car is mint, zero rust and unmolested. With that being said i dont know any history about the car , but can only assume it was parked for this issue. I pumped out the old gas and put in 5 gals of 93 octane. Has spark( new plugs) plugs are wet when i changed them. Has 45 psi fuel pressure at the rail. If you crank it, it will stumble and act like it wants to start but will not. If you dump gas in the intake it will fire right up and sounds good until it runs out of gas. I have no clue on these v6s but im doing my best to not rip the engine out and install a v8 and auto trans. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I would say the injectors need to be cleaned or replaced to solve your problem.

don't put in junkyard injectors. you run the risk of the same problem. bad spray pattern, or won't even open to spray fuel.

spend the $150 or less to buy new injectors. NEW, it will run like a champ then and save you lots of time. change your filter too.
