1.6 roller rockers?

hey guys. got a question. i want to get a set of 1.6 roller rocker arms. i heard that comp cams makes them but i have never seen them. who makes 1.6 roller rockers for the 2.8. where can i get a set and how much. thanks.

As far as I know not one makes them for our car anymore(cheap enough that is)... But there was a guy on here not too long ago who put a set of V-8 1.6 in his 2.8L S-10 and they worked find and were cheaper at that. Heres the thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...Roller+rockers

I did 1.6 rollers and I would never do it again unless at the same time you added new valve springs.. I think I was told 105# was the correct tension for that type of rocker. I just tossed on the 1.6's and the car runs slower because the other parts are so worn out because of age.


So if you do 1.6's and you have high miles get new valve springs at the same time otherwise it could be a mistake like mine.

Ya definentely do the valve springs. Also, crane makes full roller rockers for 349 dollars, and comp cams makes the magnum roller tip rockers for 130 dollars. Id personally go with the full rollers vs. the roller tip for less friction, more power, and an overall better product.
