Don't you mean the IAT? the IAC is the idle air control motor in the throttle body, the IAT is the intake ait temperature sensor in the airfilter can.
Either way I'd expect to pay about $20 for a new one. Just about every GM 2.8 and 3.1 used the same sensor. Junkyard would be the first place I'd go if you're on a budget. Any autoparts store should be able to hook you up too.
