Carb for turbo & Edelbrock intake

I see that the holley 390cfm 4 bbl carb is the recommended carb for the edelbrock intake. I'm thinking about using it with my turbo setup, ported heads and 3.4. Can this carb be made blow-thru? and will this setup be too tall for my turbo-bulge hood?

Thanks!
Zack

I don't think so. In an NA application I would say yes but in a forced induction application I would say you could get more. IMHO that guy that posted that is wrong.

Re: Carb for turbo & Edelbrock intake

I dunno, KTM is pretty knowledgeable, I'm on other forums that he is.

You may be able to GET more power, but you'll be trying to shove a lot of air through it and also need to increase the fuel as well, which means pressurizing the carb.

It just seems silly in today's market with inexpensive engine management solutions to even run a blow through carb setup, except for running some very specific race classes where EFI is not allowed...
