then u installed a shift kit (or w/o the shif kit)

1. on pavement.... my car will spin like mad in 1st and give a chirp when i go into 2 ... that was when i had a pair of michelins in the back now after the BFG's it doesnt spin but catches the road like a damn slick....
2. if it rains man the car is crazy even in 2-3 shift
3. looks like i have a clutch slip somewhere
4. im trying to see if the B&M would make it better
back home .... dont laugh at me

stock for stock I used to could beat that damn integra but now that he has mods and I havent had a tune up LOL he can beat me. I raped the **** outta my friend's civic though. He knew it was coming tho. But thats about it. I beat two thunderbirds tho. Whats your kills?

well i have killed a couple of civics (one wanted to see who went topspeed ... man what was he thinking anyway)
and ive also killed a integra ... the bsae model is not very fast
the problem is ... not many ricers wanna race me cos i have a dualtip on both sides of my exhaust ... which tells those guys somehitng.... and i have a dual gauge pod ... thats where some stock guys get scared off
ive had a couple of guys even ask me what am i runnning ( they think its v8)

<--- edit: I was in the RSThe max rpm I have reached is 5500 or so. I never went to complete redline. I see no need to rev it that high seeing how one, we make all the power in lower rpms and two, because the engines rev so fast that you couldnt tell the difference between 4500 and 5500. Oh yea and about the ticket thing. Yea....77 in a 50 right here

Yea we have a few Camaro cops here. Actually it has gotten down to only two. Both of which I know very well. One has the blue two stripes going down the side. He is easy to pick out. But the other one which lives 3 houses from me is silver with nothing on it but two hanging strobe like lights hanging in the back window. That beyatch is stealthy. They are both Z28s and have something done to them that the state does (neither will tell me what) And both have the Z28 emblems shaved off. They tried to make them look like V6's he said but they missed one thing that all F-body guys would notice right away the pancake tail pipes. They both are cool guys and the plain silver one has seen me speeding many times but has never pulled me over
he is just so hard to spot! I tried to get him to race me in my Z but he always says no. Go figure

i looked liek crazy for that pancake tips .... couldnt find one ... they are made of pure aluminium (beleive it or not)
i finally ended up with the dual tips on both sides .... some SS's here have them...

Also- you already bought the transpak? You might want to return it, for two reasons.
1: Most people prefer the TransGo shift kit. The TransGo is supposed to be designed much better than the B&M... and is probably why it's about $120 as opposed to B&M's $25 Shift Improver Kit (which I have).
2: The TransPak is the same thing for a 700r4 as the B&M Shift Improver kit. The only thing you're paying extra for in the TransPak is a transmission filter! The directions for both kits (for the 700r4) are exactly the same.
I didn't know about the TransGo vs B&M difference back when I installed my Shift Improver Kit (1997). I'll have to put the TransGo in one day. The 1-2 shift feels strong enough to chirp, but, I have P275/60r15 rear tires (on 15x8 wheels) with a 3.73/posi/disc rear, and they don't lose traction. A thinner (or stock) tire probably would. But, I do have the 4-3 kickdown valve- and man, it's a great mod; you'll love it. Think about adding a trans cooler when you put the shift kit in.

I have a '92 Camaro RS V6 3.1L . I given a few friends a ride in it and they didn't know it was V6. Once they found out they would tell me I should put a 350 in it, but I like it to much. All though I am thinking about droping a 3.4 in it sence it has high miles on it (173,500). It's starting to get a little tempermental at times, Hard start first thing in the morning, leaks like a sive even though I keep tracking leaks down and fixing them. I think I may be leaking from the rear main seal.
I may start a new project that will take time away from my '92. I'm thinking about doing a frame off restore and hot rodded '32 ford duce 3 window.
Curent mods.

converting a 2.8 to 3.4 is a huge mess...
ud have to get a stroker kit to 3.1 and whatever u go from there is upto u... 3.4 is not achievable w/o a block cjhange ... mine is overbord to the point where walls are very thin
dont overbore ... all it makes is heat... u get tghe power ok... but ull be runnign hot unless u have a lower thermostat...
and there are problems associated with thermostat
so just find a 3.4 and drop it in....
