Car: 1987 Firebird

Engine: 2.8L V6

Transmission: 700r4

i have a 87’ 2.8l V6 in my Firebird and when I step on the gas from a stand still very lightly it starts to bog and then if I press harder it goes away. Today it bogged a lot at low throttle and then started making this weird noise at the engine like a whale sound. And when I turn the key it now takes a lot of cranks for it to start. Help!
