DIS CONVERSION QUESTIONS!

DIS CONVERSION QUESTIONS!

Hey everyone,

Currently doing a DIS swap onto a 3.1 V6 and having some issues. The car wants to start on starting fluid but I can't tell for sure if the timing is right on it yet until I get the fuel injectors going. The ecm is a 7730 ecm running the $A1 mask. Checked and there is 12 volts at the injector when the key is on. Not sure if they are always on and grounded when fired or turned on when fired. Checked with the original set of injectors and they dont fire. Going to get a noid light set this weekend to see if the ecm is even firing them but what should I do in the mean time?

Did you connect the 7 pin DIS harness to the 4 pin dizzy harness? These wires are what tell the ECM the engine is running (to fire the injectors) at what RPM, and allow the ECM to control the timing.

Yes I made sure to do that. So from putting the injectors back in I managed to get some fuel down the intake. She fired right up but died since the injectors went firing. What it is the next step?

Here is a log I took, I started with the key off, turned the key on, and then began cranking, stopped cranking and then turned the key off.

I found my issue, Injector driver grounds were not hooked up. Hooked them up and put the noid light on and the light flashes. Also disregard the datalog. I wired wrong into the ECM so it would not have shown anything conclusive.
