TPS disconnected, no more stall?

Hi guys, may be my stalling problem was about the TPS? Whir warm engine, I disconnected the IAC first, no changes. When I disconnected and reconnected the TPS, the engine gradually got better, with no more stalling problem! I noticed the path of the alternator, IAC and TPS wiring harness: is that normal that the harness is so close to the thermostat hose? This should explain the stalling problem when hot? Any help is very appreciated!
Thanks!

I'd have to check .It is all very tight around there though, that position shouldn't be causing any problems , all the wiring is designed to handle engine bay heat . Unless it's rubbed worn out and grounding .

I'd guess you just have some corrosion on the connection, that you cleaned when you disconnected and reconnected the plug , get some cleaner spray in there, carefully with a small file / knife clean it up , or push it on off a few times to clean it up .

I don't think tps would cause a stall. When I rebuilt my trans, freshened up my 3.1 and put everything back together I was stalling when coming to a stop. The grounds on the back of the heads were a bit loose. Might wanna check those if the new tps doesn't fix the issue.
