2.8 MPI Camaro engine bolts
2.8 MPI Camaro engine bolts
I recently purchased a 1986 Camaro SC with a 2.8 MPI engine. The problem is that the kid who had it had started to replace parts like the water pump and alternator and LOST THE BOLTS FOR THE PLENUM AND EVERYTHING ELSE ON TOP OF THE ENGINE.
i have been trying to locate a source to replace the bolts but I am not having any luck. Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of a bolt kit to buy for these. You may want to check junk yards around, see if you can find any of the bolts you need off a car out there.

Most can be replaced using hardware store (or bolt fastener store) sourced bolts.
Only a few that come to mind that you will likely need to hit up a wrecking yard for, and those are some of the water pump bolts, since they are usually longer than what is commonly available.
