Starter trouble
The starter had only 1 bolt in it when I bought the car, so I went to my parts car and pull out the one I need. But it falls out after a couple of starts causing the starter to fall. Do I need to have the bolt hole retreaded?

Is it the proper length bolt? Are you torquing it to spec? I'd think if your threads were messed up, you wouldn't be able to get the bolt to thread in all the way...
