Re: Throttle body/FPR lines

It’s the line coming from the throttle body and fuel pressure regulator.

sounds like your diaphragm in the regulator has a hole in it

If I were to replace the regulator, where would the line go? I heard something about an air diverter or air management valve that’s supposedly on top of the air pump but I can’t find it for the life of me.

Re: Throttle body/FPR lines

I’m assuming there shouldn’t be fuel going through it too?

Re: Throttle body/FPR lines

the fuel should only be going threw the metal lines to the injector block to feed the injectors. definitely not from a vacume line

you can see the fuel and return lines only go to and from the block feeding the injectors

Re: Throttle body/FPR lines

Ok, so the fuel lines are the only wants that should be shooting fuel. Since there’s fuel in the vacuum line coming from the regulator, you mentioned there’s a hole in the diaphragm. That should be replaced. I’m guessing this is the reason it won’t start since it’s not getting the appropriate fuel pressure. What about the vacuum leak? Should I plug it? I don’t know where it goes. I should be able to get the new regulator sometime around Thurs and i’ll have time around Mon to install it, so hopefully it won’t rot in the backyard anymore haha.

Re: Throttle body/FPR lines

The fuel regulator uses engine vacuum. A vacuum hose attaches to the regulator housing. My guess is that is the hose that is not currently connected. See attached photo.
